On 6th June 2019, I was invited to Lamborghini Birmingham to photograph their cars. I was so excited as the Lamborghini is my favourite car and so to be able to see them up close and even sit inside them was amazing.

I went there with my Mum and Dad and whilst their Dad took some video shots so we could also turn my visit into a video for my YouTube channel.

Things were made extra special when award winning photographer, James Mann, sent me a signed copy of his latest book, “How to photograph cars”. James Mann is one of the world's leading car and motorcycle photographers, with more than 20 years of experience shooting for enthusiast publications, the motor industry, and businesses around the world. 

It was a great honor for me therefore that along with the book, he gave me a few tips on things to try whilst at Lamborghini.  Thinking about James Mann;s advice really made me think about how I was taking photos and I feel they turned out better as a result.

After my visit, my dad emailed a handful of my favourite shots to James Mann and also to Chris Synott, the Franchise Manager at Lamborghini Birmingham.  I was delighted that they both like my photos.

Wow! ... great pics!  Shooting inside is always tricky as you have to deal with mixed lighting but it seems as though he has dealt with that in these images.  Great photography... keep at it
